  • Observation #2: This observation will not be a traditional observation. Instead, I want to you to consider if there are connections between the culture wars of the 1980s and today. Please find an article from a reputable newspaper (New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) that illustrates a connection to the culture wars of the 1980s or areas of new cultural discussion and debate. Please be prepared to discuss the reasoning for your article with the class. Bring a printed copy of the article to class. Write your name on it and that will be submitted as your observation #2.
